Requirements to get a student visa for Australia

English proficiency requirement

Health requirements

It is compulsory for those who intend to train as a dentist, doctor, or nurse. As a part of the Australian student visa assessment, it is compulsory for students to purchase Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) that students can purchase through university.

Character requirements

You also need to provide a penal clearance certificate or to complete a Character Statutory Declaration form to prove that you have good character to enter Australia. The purpose is that you don’t have any criminal record.
